Working with you to get an Employment Agreement

Employees who are covered by a collective agreement are members of the union and share terms and conditions of employment. Instead of you individually talking to your boss about your pay and conditions - we can do it together.

• As a group, workers are stronger, and can demand improved conditions and pay
• All the NZNO members decide what changes are needed - eg pay rates, penal rates
• A team negotiates with employers
• Only NZNO members can join a collective agreement
• The option of industrial action is available if needed by members
