Diabetes New Zealand Inc. (DNZ) is a nationwide, non-governmental, non-profit organisation, which is an Incorporated Society. Established in February 1962, the aim of the organisation is to support its 13,500 members, 41 societies, as well as health professionals involved with diabetes.

Irish Diabetes Nurse Specialist Association
Provides a forum for Nurse Specialists who are involved in the long term care of people who have diabetes and promotes awareness of the need for specialist care for persons with diabetes.

UK Association of Diabetes Specialist Nurses
The UK Association of Diabetes Specialist Nurses was founded in 1997 following a market research exercise among established Diabetes Specialist Nurses. Consensus suggested that there was a need for a professional body to represent nurses working wholly in diabetes care. World Diabetes Day (International Diabetes Federation)
