Policy Development

Provide input for policy development both within and beyond NZNO:

• Facilitate professional debate and foster member input into policy development and discussion documents
• Write discussion documents for members
• Assist in the analysis and preparation of submissions on nursing and health issues
• Participate in research and analysis of current nursing and health issues
• Provide a national overview of allocated portfolios
• Represent NZNO on various external groups
• NZNO representatives and regular meetings with external organisations
