Section members may make application annually for the Bernadette Hart Award. The award is for conference or course costs. Closing date 31 January.
Bernadette Hart Award
Education in Stomal Therapy Nursing
The Section has endorsed the New South Wales College of Nursing Stomal Therapy Nursing Graduate Certificate. This has been recognised by a number of NZ education providers and may be included within a post-graduate studies programme offerred by these providers.

- Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology
- UCOL, Palmerston North
Other NZ education providers may consider recognising this certificate within a postgraduate programme however that would need to be negotiated with each provider.
