Revolutionising the face of Primary Health Care
25-27 June 2010
Waipuna Hotel and Conference Centre, Auckland, New Zealand
Recently Auckland held the Primary Health Care Nurses Conference 2010. This was a collaborative conference involving the College of Practice Nurses, District Nurse Section and Public Health Nurse Section.
This conference also highlighted the journey these three sections have taken so far and showcased the beginning of the future for the new NZ College of Primary Health Care Nurses NZNO.
The conference was a great success with over 400 delegates attending the three day programme which catered for nurses working across all areas of primary health care including: immunisation nurse specialists, prison nurses, well child nurses, public health nurses, practice nurses, youth nurses and district nurses.
The programme was packed with amazing speakers from across New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong and United States. We were privileged to have Carol Huston as a key note speaker presenting at Conference with her presentations focusing on nursing leadership in 2020.
