Latest Information re the Enrolled Nurse title
The Enrolled Nurse Section of NZNO proposes this scope of practice which enables enrolled nurses to deliver care across the lifespan and in all health settings.
This scope of practice was endorsed by the NZNO Board of Directors, 12 August 2009 and submitted to the Nursing Council of NZ prior to consultation on the enrolled nurse title and scope of practice August 2009.
The Nursing Council of NZ has the statutory authority outlined in the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 to establish and gazette scopes of practice.
