The Indigenous Nurses Aotearoa Conference was held on Saturday 9 August at Eden Park.
The conference was hosted by Te Rūnanga o Aotearoa, NZNO, as part of the Hui ā-Tau whichwas held in Tāmaki Makaurau from Friday 8 to Sunday 10 August 2014.
The conference day was open to all Nurses and Kaimahi Hauora including non Te Rūnanga members.
The inaugral conference was a huge success. It provided Māori members from around the country the opportunity to hui and network with a range of health professionals and share their stories about Māori nursing, Māori health, and whānau ora.
The theme Our Health, Our Taonga was well covered by the high calibre of speakers. Their presentations will be available on the website soon.
