Fair Share for Aged Care is an exciting campaign run jointly by the New Zealand Nurses Organisation and Service and Food Workers Union: Nga Ringa Tota.
It's a campaign to win fair pay and decent conditions in aged care through collective bargaining. To do that we need to increase the number of union members. When we have strength of numbers, we have a strong collective voice.
We need lots more workers in aged care to join the union to be successful.
Oceania aged care workers need your support
Right now aged care workers from the Oceania chain are attending stop work meetings. They need your support.
These workers deserve a to earn a living wage and the CEO of Oceania, Guy Eady, needs to keep getting this message loud and clear!
Send him an ecard in support of under-paid and under-valued aged care sector workers at Oceania.
Many Oceania workers who care for our most vulnerable citizens are being paid only 11 cents more than the minimum wage. Let Oceania boss Guy Eady know that you want to him to value these workers as much as you do.
