The New Zealand Nurses Organisation (NZNO) piloted a Kai Tiaki Nursing New Zealand Journal Club during 2009.

Each month an article in Kai Tiaki Nursing New Zealand was selected as the journal club article.

An electronic discussion forum was made available through the NZNO website with trigger questions to aid individual and group reflection.

In October 2009 the pilot was evaluated and due to very low participation and interactive discussion the decision was made to discontinue the journal club.
