NZNO members and staff are welcome to borrow material from the library. This service is free.
Visiting the library
You are welcome to visit the library in-person but we do ask that you contact us ahead of time to make an appointment. This allows us to make sure a staff member is available to assist you.

A peer-reviewed professional journal for all workers in infection prevention and control. The aim of the journal is to advance the evidence base in infection prevention and control, and to provide a publishing platform for all health professionals interested in this field of practice.
The NZNO library holds this journal in hardcopy and can also provide articles in pdf, upon request (library@nzno.org.nz)
Requesting material
Requests can be made via telephone, mail, fax, webform or email. Tips on making a subject request can be found here.
In order to fulfill a request we may provide copies of articles from journals or newspapers; sometimes we will recommend a website; other times we might send you a book. It depends on what is best suited to your request.
Please note: Photocopies and PDFs are yours to keep, however you must comply with the copyright law and not make another copy of the copy sent to you.
Books are issued for a period of 4 weeks. We ask that you treat borrowed material carefully, return it promptly, and bear the cost of returning the book to the NZNO Library.
