Mental Health Nurses Section Biannual General Meeting

There are currently seven MHNS Committee members and all are returning for the next year. This leaves one vacancy on the MHNS Committee.
If you are interested in nominating a colleague or yourself to fill the vacancy, please download the MHNS Committee nomination form and submit your nomination to the Committee by 4 December at 5pm. The number of nominations received will determine whether or not a digital election needs to be held.
If you would like to present a policy or rule remit for discussion and consideration at the BGM, please download the following documents and submit the appropriate form by 11 December at 5pm:

PAST EVENTS
2024 Mental Health Nurses Section Forum - cancelled due to lack of registrations
Date and time: Friday 9 August 2024, 12.30 - 4.00pm
Venue: Ko Awatea Centre, Middlemore Hospital, Counties Manukau
The focus of this year's forum is a mixture of topics relevant to mental health nurses and other mental health clinicians from a practice and workplace perspective.
Speakers
- Dr Zoe Port PhD, BBS (Hons) is a lecturer at Massey University’s School of Management and Co-Director of Healthy Work Group. Among her interests are workplace wellbeing and the psycho-social risks within workplaces. Included in Zoe’s research is inquiry into Community Mental Health & Addictions.
- Linda Bowden BHSc, (OT), MHSc is a PhD candidate at the Dept of Psychological Medicine at Auckland University. Among her interests are Clinical Supervision and Suicide prevention projects.
- Rosaline Fuata'I is a District Inspector for Counties Manukau.
