The 2026 Aeromedical Retrieval Course has landed! When every second counts excellence isn’t optional, it’s essential. That’s why we’ve completely revamped the 2026 Aeromedical Retrieval Course to set a new benchmark for advanced critical care in the air.

What’s new in 2026:

  • Next-level clinical simulation: Realistic, high-pressure scenarios that mirror true retrieval missions.
  • Expert-led education: Learn directly from highly skilled professionals with real-world aeromedical and critical care experience.
  • Water survival skills training: Master essential survival techniques for overwater operations to develop confidence and capability in every environment.

Please note:

  • Participants are required to complete online training prior to attending the course.
  • There is no assignment for this course, however an examination will be conducted upon completion.
  • Following a nationwide survey the HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training) component is no longer included in the course.

Application requirements

When you apply for the Aeromedical Retrieval course you need to have the following documents available:

  • Current CV
  • Anonymised Flight Log
  • Letter of support from your Line Manager
  • Evidence of Post Grad study if any (non-essential)
  • Evidence of 6 months' flight experience is preferential.
