Call for abstracts

Abstracts are invited for oral and poster presentations in any areas relevant to air and surface transport along the theme of “synergy in motion”.

The Symposium organising committee is working to provide an interesting and informative programme. You are invited to share your experiences and knowledge by presenting a clinical practice situation, innovation, research project, or audit, that reflects the theme of the Symposium.

Oral presentations will be 20 minutes in length.
Speakers will be expected to keep to the time limit given.
Posters will be displayed for the duration of the Symposium.

Abstracts for COASTN Symposium 2025 should fit within one of the following categories, demonstrating bi-cultural awareness and equity:

Quality Improvements projects including the approach taken (e.g. PDSA cycle, EPIQ, etc.), and progress and outcomes of the project. This may include projects to reduce variation in practice, audit activity, and/or lessons learnt from the process.
Nursing workforce initiatives such as implementing new roles, support for well-being, overcoming challenges
Participation in research, development of technology, advancement in transport nursing
Case studies
