Dr Isaac Amankwaa (PhD, MSc, RN)
Presentation Title: Evolving Nursing Roles in Assisted Dying: Insights for an Ideal Service Model
Bio: Dr. Isaac Amankwaa is a Senior Lecturer in Nursing at AUT with a research focus on health equity, migrant health literacy, and assisted dying. He is passionate about synthesising emerging evidence to support workforce development and advance nursing practice.

Patricia McClunie-Trust
Presentation Title is “Graduate Entry Nursing Students' Development of a Professional Nursing Self.”​​
Bio: Dr Patricia McClunie-Trust is a Principal Lecturer in the Master of Nursing, Master of Professional Practice and Master of Nursing Science programmes at Wintec. She is a professional supervisor interested in capability development for advanced nursing practice. Patricia’s research focuses on professionalism and professional practice in nursing.

Chey Ratima
Presentation Title: Kawa Whakaruruhau: A framework for enabling culturally safe practice with Māori
Qualification: Masters of Nursing Science
Bio: Chey is a Nurse Educator Māori at MidCentral, and is passionate about supporting kaupapa Māori approaches to clinical education and workforce development. Her focuses on empowering health professionals to deliver culturally safe, equity-focused care by actualising Te Tiriti o Waitangi in clinical practice.

2024 Nursing Research Section (NRS), Te Wāhanga Rangahau Tapuhi's (NZNO) Forum

Nau mai ki te Nursing Research Section, Te Wāhanga Rangahau Tapuhi warmly invites you to join our community of researchers at our 2024 Forum.

The Nursing Research Section invites Nurse Researchers and Clinicians to share their research with our nursing community. Your research findings have implications for future nursing practice. We encourage you to share the outcomes of primary studies and evidence synthesis, including systematic reviews or meta-synthesis that you may have undertaken in your postgraduate study or within health care or research teams. Research protocols and commentary on the experience of using particular research approaches or methodologies would also be welcome.
