Trade for All – Health Information

Digital technologies which enable health information to be stored, assessed and transmitted between countries is central to global trade. NZNO seeks your feedback on the digital exchange of health information eg for assessment, treatment, storage, research etc that is currently taking place and what processes are in place to assure the quality of advice and to protect that information. (Ie what  exchanges are happening now, and any potential exchanges).

This will inform NZNO’s response to the government’s Trade for All Agenda, a chance to consider trade policy in general. NZNO has advocated for trade policy and agreements that protect public health, human and indigenous rights, and enhance equity within and between countries. https://www.mfat.govt.nz/en/trade/nz-trade-policy/trade-for-all-agenda/
