Nursing at the forefront, transforming care - Building productive workplaces
The Convention was held on Thursday 27 April 2017 at the Hamilton Airport Hotel and Conference Centre in Hamilton.
The 'Positive practice environments for nursing teams' presentation outlined the importance of Positive working environments and explained what they look like. It broadly addressed the nursing profession's influence on positive work environments via relevant Laws and Regulations and Professional Codes.
It highlighted how individual nurses, nursing teams, managers and organisations measures help create and maintain positive working environments, and included information about unhealthy workplace relationships (better known as bullying) which led on to the workshops that followed.
