Support for NZNO members after the Christchurch tragedy

NZNO wishes to send our heartfelt acknowledgement to all our members who have been impacted by the tragedy on Friday.

We know over the coming days, weeks and months  many of you our members will be experiencing the impacts, both personally and professionally of the devastation.

Your employer is responsible to ensure your psychological-social wellbeing is maintained. All employees will be impacted differently, and your employer needs to ensure you get the support that meets your individual needs.

NZNO is here for all our members to provide support for your employment and professional practice if any issues transpire.

We want  to encourage any member who is not receiving the support required from their employer to please contact us. We are here to support you.

We also wish to encourage all who have access to EAP to consider accessing this service. Members can also call or text 1737 anytime to talk with a trained counsellor.
