NZNO Nurses and Smoking Research

Whakauae Research and AUT University are working with NZNO on the Nurses and Smoking research project and we would love to interview Māori nurses and student nurses as part of this work.

The research will use multiple methods to design, develop, and test the feasibility and acceptability of a quit intervention suitable for Māori nurses, community health workers and nursing students.

We will be at the NZNO Te Runanga Hui. If you are interested in participating, you can indicate this when you complete your online registration for AGH.

The interviews will take up to an hour and participants need to be Māori and smoking or if not smoking only just quit please email mel@whakauae.co.nz or text Mel on 0221739009 for an interview time. Participants will receive a $30 koha for their time.

Ngā mihi nui,

Dr Heather Gifford.
