Peer review
Kai Tiaki Nursing New Zealand is a generalist nursing magazine, and publishes a range of articles written by nurses: clinical practice articles, case studies, research reports, and education or viewpoint pieces.
It is not an academic journal but insists on high standards of clinical accuracy, so nursing articles undergo peer review by an expert in the appropriate field of practice.
Reviewers' comments are taken into account by the co-editors when deciding whether to run an article, or how to edit it.
