Parking at the Venue
Parking is available at Te Papa at a reduced rate for delegates. To access the rate, park as normal and bring your parking ticket to the NZNO Registration Desk for validation. When leaving, enter your parking ticket into the parking machines as normal, and the rate will be updated.
Conference rates are approx. $12 per day (valid from 6:00am - 6:00pm, then it goes up per hour. More information about parking at the venue can be found on Te Papa's website.
Registration Desk
The registration desk will open from 9.00am on Wednesday 20 September and from 8:00am on Thursday 21 September, in the Amokura Gallery on Level 4. Registration will be staffed during the breaks throughout the AGM and Conference days and will be your best place to get information and updates.
Conference Handbook
Information will be available on the NZNO website. We have chosen not to print a handbook this year as we are being conscious of the environment and reducing paper where we can.
Special Diets and Accessibility
If you have any special dietary requirements or allergies that we need to be aware of, please make sure we've got these noted in your registration information. Likewise, if you need a hand with accessibility, let us know so that we can make sure we're standing by to assist.
Livestreaming
Given the high activity component of the Conference programme - there will be no livestreaming.
Mobile Devices and Internet
WIFI will be available at the venue. A charging station will be available in the Amokura Gallery with regular power plugs and USB plugs for you to plug in and top-up. Please bring your own charging cables, as we can't guarantee what will be available at the time.
We will be using Slido as our audience interaction app. Tech assistance will be available at the event from 9.00am, and name tags will have a QR code for scanning.
Expense Claims
Expense Claim forms will be available from the registration desk. Original GST invoices/receipts and expense claim forms are required. Request a full GST invoice/receipt should you wish to claim an expense.
Flights
Flight itineraries have been sent to all travellers by Tandem Travel. Please check the itinerary, and if you wish to make any changes please contact Tandem Travel on 0800 747 020 or conferenceandevents@tandemtravel.co.nz - the cost of any change will be your responsibility.
Flights are booked as Seat + Bag.
Airport transfers and Luggage
An NZNO staff member will meet you in the baggage claim area on Ground Level of the airport, 20 September, and direct you to the coaches waiting to take you to Te Papa.
The coaches will drop you at Te Papa, then take your luggage onto your hotel where it will be stored until you check in later in the day. Please clearly label your luggage with your name and the hotel you have been allocated to.
NZNO will arrange to pick up your luggage from your hotel on Thursday and deliver it to the airport ready for you to collect after conference. Please ensure your luggage is clearly labelled, so your hotel reception can easily identify which luggage should go to the airport and leave it with reception on check. out
If you arrive at any other time, please make your own way to Te Papa. Authorised delegates should get a GST receipt as you may be able to submit an Expense Claim for reimbursement.
If you are departing early, please bring your luggage with you to Te Papa.
Accommodation
Accommodation confirmation has been sent to authorised delegates via seperate email. Please check your accommodation email, which will include your allocated hotel, check in and check out dates, and who you will be room sharing with (if applicable). Contact conference@nzno.org.nz if you have any queries.
We envisage you will walk to and from your hotel each day to Te Papa.
Weather
