Staying home to look after children

Question:

Are the DHBs implementing special leave for those members who have to stay home and look after children?

Answer:

The most recent national guidance expects members to take annual leave if they need to stay home to look after children because schools have closed. However, DHBs are currently looking at ways to support members in this situation and we are expecting further advice in the coming days.
