Mental Health Act and Human rights

The New Zealand Nurses Organisation made a submission to the Ministry of Health on their consultation on the Mental Health Act and Human Rights  in order to contribute to a shared understanding of the relationship between the Mental Health (Compulsory Assessment and Treatment) Act 1992 and the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) and the New Zealand Bill of Rights Act 1990 (NZBORA).
